it's been a long time

yeah i've been slacking on the blog page so here it is.  i made some flexfit style ballcaps this week. they're better than flexfits though, come check 'em out man. this is a limited edition run so don't sleep on it.

also kris dilworth made some designs for agave tequila bar and restaurant in lewes and yours truly printed them on t-shirts and hoodies. they're all printed on american apparel brand, superior quality %100  made in the u.s. of a. agave has re-opened after their expansion so check them i highly recomend the surf n turf burrito, and a margarita.

 

my homeboy morgan came to town this weekend and got his sharks finished, maybe i'll get decent pic today to show everyone if kris hasn't already posted it on facebook.

and here's the lucky bastard getting tattooed by javi after his sharky's were finished. 

some fancy pants script jawn on tha wrist, so fresh and so clean.

morgan's a pretty talented woodworker, he made the awesome saloon doors at the shop. 

and lastly tough luck will be participating i the skate deck art show at dimensions skate shop in ocean city on may 26th. the show opens at 8 pm.  i just realized why this blog never gets updated, it's a huge pain in the ass. we don't have huge following yet but the few people that told me they dig it makes it all wothwhile. here's my "i just updated the blog face".

little bit of black and grey....fun one...this was done from a statue that lives on the side of a mountain in the woods...

also....i sold this to the talented joe bruce this weekend in philly....his work is also not to be missed....

i also have lots of bigger work going on, so now that we have a forum to post in progress work, stay tuned for updates.

The Latest.....

sorry this blog hasn't been updated in awhile. things have been busy at the shop. not to mention sean and i just got back from the philadelphia convention. the convention was a pretty decent time. it was good to make new friends and see old ones. i was supposed to split a booth with chinatown eddies, but that got all mucked up. thank

goodness sean and the people he was splitting a booth with had room. or i would've been outted. so it ended up well, for sure. i ended up splitting a booth next to my best bud, and was next to two super cool guys: Brandon Montero and Joe Bruce. BIG UPS to helpin a nigga out. fo sho.

it's a tattoo based off an art piece i submitted to Little Chicos 8x10 art show, which benefited abused and neglected pit bulls. though the tattoo is taken the original art work is still for sell ($200 framed). when she's all said and done. i'm thinking it'll be a pretty limited palette. black and grey possibly, with points of color. should be rad, even if i say so myself. all super fun tattoos....lucky me. well....we'll try to keep this thing updates more on the regular. hopefully. thanks for tuning in. over and out. -Javi.

beard update

this is from a couple of days ago when i got to florida to visit my daughter and baby mama. i think i might move the beard updates to my own blog from now on since it's not really shop related. i'm still trying to figure out what's acceptable for blog posts. originally i figured it would be a good place to put shop life and stuff that slips through the cracks of facebook. check us out at the philly convention, and if you can't make it i'm sure we'll have lots of stuff to post from there.

 and i finally got javier's wonderful t-shirt design ready to print, sure to be a hit with the moms. i don't know why i photo make's everything backwards but that's why tough luck appears backwards and my nose ring is on the right side.
